Blogworld Saturday

It's time for Blogworld Saturday once again, and here's a quick rundown of just a few of the blogs I've enjoyed the past couple of weeks:

Emma is a smart and super-active teenager in the UK. I like reading the countdown to number one in her list of the 100 Most Handsome Men, which includes Jude Law, Steven Gerrard, Alessandro Nivola, Edward Norton, and Will Smith. She recently made a post on the fifth hottest dude on the planet (at least according to her): film director Bennett Miller.

Wendz, who lives in France, wrote an impassioned post on carpe-ing the diem: seizing the day, making the most of the moment, not letting opportunities pass us by. I sooo totally agree with her.

Houseband00 writes a blog that I enjoy reading. He's a bit insane, but his posts are thoughtful, whimsical, touching, and funny--sometimes all at the same time! Watching people and making up stories about them is one of the things he likes to do.

Gale Martin, known in the blog world as Gem, is truly that. She's witty and intelligent, and her blog posts are a joy to read. Case in point: her sex post.

We all have our reasons for blogging; I liked Nunu's mum's post on why she blogs. This ravishing Filipina, married to a dashing Englishman, lives in a place called Barnsley in the UK. She's slightly insane, too, but in a fun way.

These people make me laugh with their sick and twisted sense of humor: Steve, Mist1, Dan, the Nubian Nerd, and Matt-Man. Thanks for sharing your perverted thoughts, guys.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Philippines, but I enjoyed the way it was given due attention in the blog world. The Web was ablaze the past few days with great Thanksgiving posts, like the ones made by The Thinker (another smart teenager), Mimi, Julie, and Matt-Man.

Belated birthday greetings to New Mom on the Blog, a super mom who lives in South Africa. She's a nice woman, but she can kick ass (she's into karate).

I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

I can't wait to look up some of your recommended blogs. And thanks for breathing new life into my sex post, which took time to research. It was a tough job, researching the benefits of frequent sex, but someone has to do it. Thanks for the nod, lizza. All I can say is, "Get ready for orgasm day!"

Thanks for the tip on other blogs to read. Always appreciate a good site that takes me away from what I'm actually supposed to be doing while sitting in front of my computer, LOL.
