Tagged yet again! World of the workplace

Terra Shield, a young lady in Malaysia, tagged me with this set of questions. So here you go, Terra. :-)

1. What is the best thing about my workplace?
I love that I work at home. I can eat, drink, and be merry at my workstation. I don’t have to wear anything fancy...I could work naked if I wanted to (not that I do, hahaha). If I feel a tad sleepy, I can lie down anytime. And one of the best things about it: NO OFFICE POLITICS.

2. What do I hate about my workplace?
Hmmm...nothing? Oh wait, there’s just one...I don’t have my beloved broadband connection right now!

3. What small irritants at my workplace really annoy me?
Did I mention the absence of high-speed Internet access at present? Other than that (and the occasional bug that lands on my screen)...nothing, really.

4. Describe the actions/quirks of the weirdest person I work with (can be a co-worker, employer, or a vendor if you are self employed):
I have nothing but good things to say about my boss business partner. He’s smart, funny, and sweet to everyone. He’s a terrific guy, I’m very lucky to have him as a friend. And no, he’s not holding me at gunpoint or paying me to say this about him, haha! His quirks? Too many to mention. Oh yeah, there’s one thing I’ll say: he won’t admit that he’s even weirder than me. (Sticking out my tongue at you again, Victor! hah!)

5. What is one thing that I would change at my workplace to make life a helluva lot better?
Maybe a pristine beach about five meters away from my computer table. And this guy at my beck and call whenever I want fruit juice or a foot massage. :-D

6. Pick five songs that I’d like played at my funeral...
Done that! My list is a few posts below this one.

Thanks again, Terra Shield! I am taking a respite from tagging, so no "You’re It!!!" from me. Anyone who wants to do this, feel free. I’d love to read your answers.

Wow
Working at home is fun
But I think I may lack the discipline
:)

A pristine beach right next to my office? That is a great idea. At work I will now close my eyes and picture the beach, until my phone rings and brings me back to my little cubicle reality.

zeroimpact: Oh, yes it is! You should try it. :-)

Michael: Disconnect the darn phone for a couple of minutes so it doesn't bother your daydream. Or you can always pretend that the sound of the phone ringing is the crashing of the waves. Hehe.

I love that I created this meme and you got tagged by someone I've never heard of. I love memes!!! And then #6 was an extension of Blog MD's Funeral Meme. And now they are ONE! So awesome!

Yet another great meme for Mimi Queen of Memes. May I put it in meme central? Everytime I see a great meme I get a little pang of guilt in my heart for not finishing my book meme, especially since you tagged me! It is at the top of my blog 'to do' list. I promise to finish it soon!

I love working at home, too. It's such a refreshing change from corporate life. The best part is I get to see my baby grow up right before my eyes. c",)

Jessica: I help my friend run some Web sites. It's great fun. :-) Hope you're having a good week!

Mimi: No worries about the book meme, queen of memes! I think it's a great idea to put this workplace meme in meme central.

Irene: Oh yes, being with the little ones is definitely one of the perks of working at home!

I love your answers about working at home!

Also love the link-guy -- I have NO idea who he is, but he's way hot (and I'm digging the tattoos).

Thanks, Mo! The link-guy is JD Fortune, the new lead singer of the Australian band INXS (remember their songs from the 1980s? They found JD through Rockstar: INXS. He replaces the late Michael Hutchence, who allegedly committed suicide in 1997). Yep, fine specimen of manhood, Mr. Fortune is.
