To wit:
You Are An INFP |
The Idealist You are creative with a great imagination, living in your own inner world. Open minded and accepting, you strive for harmony in your important relationships. It takes a long time for people to get to know you. You are hesitant to let people get close. But once you care for someone, you do everything you can to help them grow and develop. You would make an excellent writer, psychologist, or artist. |
INFP stands for "Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving." The test doesn't say why I fear and loathe frogs, but maybe this video will show you why I'm starting to think spiders are such fascinating creatures. I wouldn't want to find one in my bed, but I think I'd like one of these as a pet--or as a drinking buddy. ;-)

I don't really like spiders and I don't like them more after I watched the video.
Doesn't look too bad to be a INFP ! ;-)
Spiders and Lizards... they're brilliant somewhere-in-the-room companions. they're clean, they keep your space bug-free... and they're magical.
I like them. A lot. from a distance of course!
welcome to the introverted I-something clan as labelled by Myers Briggs. :-D
I am an INFP also! We are the coolest. Ultra feeling and dreamy.
Sidney: Don't like creepy-crawlies, huh? :-D
I it ain't too bad being INFP. I like it.
H: I like lizards from a distance, too. Glad to join the clan!
Natalie: Dreamy...oh yes. Maybe a bit too much even, haha!

I dont mind spiders but I hate bugs that have too many legs. Cheers Lizza.
MY wife can't look at a spider on tv or even a badly drawn picture of a spider without freaking out.
It's quite pathetic. ;)
Steve~
Sgt: Calm and collected are good in your situation. But is impulsive? ;-)
Matt: That seems to be so YOU, my friend.
Steve: Show her the video if you want to freak her out. But you won't be getting any nookie. ;-)
Hi Lizza!! Here I am reappearing once again like Houdini!
I am an ENFP (sometimes to my detriment).
Spiders don't bother me as much as snakes do. I'm not saying I want to become best friends with one or allow one to cozy up next to me in bed or anything...I just don't get heebie jeebies when I see one.
It's nice to be back. Hopefully I'll stick around for awhile this time, but being the ENFP that I am, we are tireless in our pursuit of new-found interests! We shall see...
Laurrrrzzzz: Yours is a most welcome appearance. I've missed your high jinks. New-found interests? Ooohhh, you make me curious. Pray tell on your blog!
You should thank your lucky stars I don't have a pic of one time we were at a zoo and I had a python around my neck. I have one of my son with the same snake, though. Wanna see? Haha!
I am also an INFP....
Hate frogs too but not too scared of them, they're just icky...terrified of spiders and snakes though..snakes even more than spiders.
I stood barefoot on a frog once...we had an infestation under our kitchen sink (which I didn't know about at the time) and one night I went to get a glass of water and stood on something slimey and soft and it sqeaked loudly. I nearly pee'd in my knickers right there and then! Revolting!
And when I finally discovered all those froggies under my sink I almost fainted from the sheer horror of it.
And the French EAT them. Can you credit it! Ew!
Wendz: You inadvertently stood barefoot on a frog? Good God in heaven, I would've had a frigging heart attack. Even more so at the thought of froggies under the sink.
I love all things French--except the predilection for FROGS' LEGS!!! Spare me.
Every time I've taken the Myers-Briggs I get a different profile. This time it was ENFP. On the full test, my asnwers are close to the border on each one, so that's likey why my results are so variable. And I like spiders, they are fascinating. (But, I like frogs, too.)
I've taken the test several times (long and short versions) and they always come up with INFP.
CSL, I love your blog, but that post with the frog-on-the-window pic gives me the heebie-jeebies. :-D
I like lizards too but not if they are named Kimodo Dragon! :-)
Now that kind of lizard would really be best admired from afar. :-)
I wouold bet that the majority of people who "blog" regularly are of the I variety.
It suits them accordingly.
Someone should do a survey...
Scott: Maybe, maybe not. Lots of 'em are also E's.
Yeah, you're right. Maybe someone should do a survey. Are you raising your hand? ;-)
Not to worry, Lizza, that terribly scary frog was on the OTHER side of the screen! (You know how lots of kids have teddy bears? I had a frog.)
You actually had a real live frog for a pet? Or a toy one? I can take the latter, but the former...*shudder*
:-D
Toy one - a stuffed, furry one. Actually, she was very cute.
Sorry, Lizza, can't watch it. Spiders still give me the heebie-jeebies!
But I think your Myers Briggs type suits you perfectly!
At first I thought INFP was sort of wussy, but I've grown to accept and like it. :-) Thanks, Miss Muffett!
