Yet

I'm not really lost, literally. Well, I'm here, yet I'm not.

I need to do some searching. Would that finding something was as simple as rifling through the lost-and-found boxes they have in schools. But the boxes I see are overflowing with stuff, yet they're empty somehow.

Brown bottles
Slim white, smoky sticks
Songs on the radio
Chocolate
MSN
Web sites
Paperbacks
Diary
Bed
Night
Dreams

I'm in all those things, yet I am not.

I don't really know what I'm looking for, but I know it's something important. I'll be back. Or ahead. I'll let you know when I get there. Wherever "there" is.
What scares me is, what if "there" is "here" already? I just hope I'm big enough and strong enough to laugh along with the Supreme Practical Joker.

But when the self speaks to the self, who is speaking? The entombed soul, the spirit driven in, in, in to the central catacomb; the self that took the veil and left the world -- a coward perhaps, yet somehow beautiful, as it flits with its lantern restlessly up and down the dark corridors.
-Virginia Woolf-

You scare me... I hope you are allright!

I hope you'll find whatever that you are looking for. We all have been through times like these but I do hope from the bottom of my heart that you are all right.

Anyway, take care always. Will be waiting for you to come back, definitely.

;)

Lizza - May your journey be as interesting as the eventual destination proves to be. I hope we'll get periodic updates on the way. I'll keep checking back. :)

Sidney: You're scaring me with that quote! Well, the author of the quote, actually. No worries, I won't be putting stones or rocks in my pockets.

Kyels: Thank you, dear. I'm fine. Just doing some thinking.

Ian: I'm still here, and I'm still reading blogs. Not too much writing on this one, though.

"I'm in all those things, yet I am not." That's brilliant, Lizza. I with Liz, I love your thoughts shared and how YOU share them. So smart, so literate. So Lizza.

Let us journey with You, lovely Lizza. A journey is much more fun with friends along.

I'm with eastcoastdweller. We don't want to wonder how you are....I take that back. You are a strong and confident and brilliant woman. You will be fine. Re-assessing is a good thing. And you do the "thinking thing" soooo well.

It is the rest of us who selfishly want you here everday. We really do care. I'll be here to check on ya daily. Sending good vibes your way, my friend.

I think that's a pretty good description of living.

Sometimes we just get up every day and walk through our routine. Other times we ponder. And still other times we find real answers.

I'm not sure if this post means you're taking a blogging break. But if so, I'll cruise by every now and then.

I love your writing. That said, I would be lying if I said I understood this post. But, I would fight to the death your right to confuse me.

Yes, the journey is sometimes more fun than the destination...but sometimes we don't find that out until we're at the end....enjoy it and take in the sights.....
Peace

The path we travel in life is not always straight...but we hope the people who accompany us can help us find our way...

I know this post intimately...

H: The day the laughter dies is the day pigs will fly. Laughter is so much a part of my life, despite these moods of mine. Hugs to you.

Turnbaby: You're such a sweetheart. Smooches back at you.

Gem: You make me blush. Thank you for your kind words, you lovely lady.

ZI: Surprises are fun. Even the not-so-pleasant surprises can be clouds with a silver lining. We live, we learn.

Bud: Hahaha! Ohhh, thanks for the laugh. I needed that.

Odat: Am doing and will continue to do so. Thanks, you feisty woman. Peace!

Bond: Yes, I gather you've traveled some rough roads (and without the dental gas!). Thanks, my dear.
