A day in the life of Japan's "Hard Gay"

I've been fascinated with Japanese history since I was a kid. I used to spend weekends at the home of Y, a girl my age, when we were children. Our families were very close. Her dad was my dad's best friend. Her dad (a Filipino) married a Japanese woman and their house was a most charming blend of Filipino and Japanese culture. Sadly, I haven't spoken with her in a long time; I really should look her up soon.

One of my fondest desires is to visit Japan, not only to see for myself the enigmatic historical sites, but perhaps to witness the type of humor that is uniquely Japanese. Don't let it be said that the people of Nippon are uptight and unfriendly. In fact, there's a helpful side to at least one of them, as you'll see in the video.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Hard Gay! He's hilarious. If only everyone was as helpful.

On a side note, I have the privilege of being a contributing blogger at Shinji's Topics From 192 Countries, a site that I found through Rhys, who writes A World of Reeholio, among others. Thanks, Rhys!

The boots? Why the boots with that outfit, Mr. Gay?

What boots, mist? Ohhhh, yeah. The active pelvis had me laughing, I didn't really notice anything else.

Oh, I liked to lsat one - the one with the man wating for the taxi.

Comedy is "out there and raw" these days ins't it?
The background music with Ricky Martin was actually a great accompanyment to this very real "vida loca" piece.

Thank you for your visit and words.
Love and joy

That..hoooo...was so much...hooo.fun! Hoooo!

When he walks out in leather in beginning, something about the crowd shot reminded me of the beginning of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Maybe it was the spinning.

What is wrong with me?!?!

I believed even my senior manager would have walked over if I continued to laugh

angelduse: Mimi did such a nice write-up about your site, I simply had to go see. Your art is beautiful. Thanks for stopping by.

Michael: Nothing's wrong with you...except perhaps your crazy sense of humor. Hooo!

ZI: Haha, never watch funny videos at work!

Hooo...that pelvis has me intrigued!! I wonder if "Hard Gay" is an accurate translation.

I wonder if that leather gives him a rash?

And if so...how does he take care of it?

So many questions raised by Hard Gay. ;)

aisby: Haha, he calls himself "Hard-a Gay"!

Steve: Hmmm...now you got me thinking questions I never would've thought of on my own. :-)

I love Japan, not that I have ever been there. I'm not one of those strange Japanophiles either, I just think the place is pretty cool. I have a friend from High school who lives there now, I keep thinking i need to find an excuse to go visit him and have him show me around.

Lizza said...

Yes, Natalie, go do that! It would be killing two birds with one stone--visiting a cool place and meeting up with an old friend. :-)

I've always had a soft-spot -- er, hard spot? --- for asian men.... is it crazy to say that Hard Gay "does it" for me?!?!
Hoooooooooooooooooo!
